The Radical Apothecary — ancient olive tree emblem, Resistance, Resilience and Recovery

The catalogue.

These are not wellness products. They are tools for sovereignty — biotechnic instruments built to give the nervous system the conditions it needs to recover.

Each specimen is catalogued the way we read everything else here: by terroir, by mechanism, and by what the body actually feels. Every entry carries the intelligence of ancient trees and the rigour of peer-reviewed science.

We do not sell calm. We sell the conditions for recovery.

Tropicual EVERYDAY — Picual

£29.99750 ml
Cultivar

Picual — November harvest, 07–23 Nov 2025

Origin

Sierra de Cazorla, Hinojares, Andalusia. Milled at Bosques del Sur.

Polyphenols

714 mg/kg total polyphenols. Oleocanthal 46 mg/kg, oleacein 52 mg/kg (D1 index 98). Total hydroxytyrosol derivatives 370 mg/kg; total tyrosol derivatives 343 mg/kg. Independently analysed by the World Olive Center for Health, Athens (Cert. C2526-00708).

Experience Box — Three 100 ml Samples

3 × 100ml · comparative tasting · price on request
Contents

Three 100 ml samples drawn from the house shelf, each with its own polyphenol count.

Purpose

A comparative tasting across cultivars and phenolic loads. Taste the bitterness and the pepper against each other before committing to a full bottle.

Method

Taste at room temperature, small glass, cupped in the hand. Note where the burn lands at the back of the throat — that is oleocanthal, not fault.

On Access

We intend to make olive oil accessible — first in our own community, and then nationally and internationally.

The specimens here reach the table outside a pop-up shop before they reach a checkout. When the network is ready, so will this page.

Pay It On

Pay It On Token

Buy a token and we put that value toward oil and tonics for someone in the community who cannot meet the price. Not charity — redistribution. Tokens are logged, matched, and sent out with the next run.

Para la gente.
